WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

The changing communication landscape with its new social, economic, and technological developments require a varied and strategic breadth of knowledge from those who manage communications and media. This programme addresses these demands by combining insights from organisation and communication studies, research on digital technologies and data, and key issues in business and society research. This foundation will provide you with the competencies and skills to participate in transforming the corporate communication function and roles with the digital future. You will build your degree on solid theories, methodology and cutting-edge research while gaining experience with practical cases to solve current and real-world challenges.

With a Master of Science in Digital Communication Management degree, you will have the versatility to serve all communication needs within organisations’ communication departments across industries and in both public and private sectors. You will be qualified for highly specialised corporate communication roles and also at a management level

Graduates will qualify for a range of positions in different areas and industries, such as:

  • Social Media and Community Manager: Content planning across all social media channels. Managing interfaces within the organization. Building strategic influencer partnerships. Definition and reporting of interaction KPIs.
  • Head of Content and Platform Strategy: Definition of key audience map and platforms. Set up content and editorial plan. Multi-media content production. Definition & reporting of content KPIs.
  • Digital Product Manager/Owner: Definition of primary use cases & features. Draft of business specifications and interfaces. Management agile development process. Budget planning and reporting.
  • Public Affairs Manager: Issues and crisis communication management role. Ensure ethical compliance. Management of org. interfaces. Politically and socially positioning organizations.
